Can you use PXI-8231 for EtherCAT ?

Hi, just wondering if you can use the PXI-8231 to perform EtherCAT comms (as Slave), reason for asking is the CRIO seems to have specific EtherCAT modules, but PXI only has Ethernet, but as I understand it EtherCAT uses Ethernet...

I don't think so, if it is supported, it will be called out specifically.

 

PXI-8231 is a NIC that you add to PXI if you need more high bandwidth ethernet ports without using a hub/switch.
