Can you help me about PXI-4071 ACV Adjustment?

I have a problem about adjustment procedure of NI PXI-4071 in AC Voltage Mode.

I use labview for adjustment program.

First, I adjust DC Voltage and resistance mode , Current mode. Its OK (No error when run labview)

but when I running ACV mode adjustment. It was error at iteration 32 and 40 (10 V 500kHz) (refer from calibration procedure NI 4071 Calibration procedure, 371281G-01 Apr 11, page 123-124)

error " adjust value invalid"

Please suggestion me. How to fix it?

Thank you.

Hi Sermsak,

Do you use this code set for a wide number of modules? Is this error you are seeing new? Do you encounter it with multiple modules? Have you ever been able to successfully make it through the code without any errors?

Also, what verson of NI-DMM do you have? What version of LabVIEW are you using?

Hi Sermsak,

You may want to look through the Test Conditions section (p. 5) of the Calibration Manual for the PXI-4071. Pay careful attention to the grounding, as well as the power suggestions, such as ensuring that everything is plugged into the same power strip. These types of factors can influence the AC filter components of the calibration procedure.

Take a look through this section to make sure everything is optimally connected and let me know if it makes any difference.

Dear Thomas B.

All test conditions are correctly, Sir.

But I have a question about adjustment procedure PXI-4071.

Becase PXI-4071 maximum frequency for ACV refer from specification only 300 kHz.

Why? the adjustment procedure was setting at 500 kHz.

I will try to test again and waiting the solution.

Thank you, Sir.

Best Regard

Hi Sermsak,

From the behavior you are seeing, it looks like we may need to set up a Return Merchandise Authorization. There is a link on this page that gives direction regarding getting it set up.

Hi Sermsak,

It sounds like they, too, may need to be sent in for an Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). I apologize for this inconvenience.
