I'm trying to decrease test time on testing a UUT by trying to parallel different test subsequences at the same time. I setup one subsequence to run on a new thread and the other on the main thread in Teststand 2016. One thread is using DMM1 to perform measurements and in the main thread I'm doing similar measurements but using a different slot on the pxi using DMM2. This multithreading seems to work but it doesn't actually cut down the test time at all. The bottleneck seems to be that the pxi-chassis can only handle communicating with one slot at a time and executes the commands sequentially. Is there a way to setup the pxi-chassis so I can communicate with the two different slots at the same time concurrently or am I limited by the hardware of the pxi-1010?
