Can 15 variables Kalman filter run on PXI?

Hello,

I'm an Aerospace researcher and I have the following problem:

We would to process 15 variables (Hardware in the loop) by using a Kalman Filter to obtain airplane state estimation.

Then I can choose between two possible solutions: 1) PXI 2) cRIO.

Then the question: Can a 15 variables Kalman Filter run, in real-time, on a cRIO or I have to have a PXI?

Hi Hudson,

thank you for your time.

We have a sampling frequency of 100Hz. We have about 10 input and 4 output (actuators).

Minimum input are: AHRS, GPS, Magnetometer, Airdata (Boom).

Our target is to make one Kalman filter for the state estimation (15 variables) from GPS data plus one Kalman filter for the navigation control.

All this work have to be made in real time & on bord.

Then, can a cRIO do this work?
