COLLISION DETECTED

Solved!
Go to solution

Here is the error I just found after looking in the ni-rt/system/mxsSchemaError.log:

[11/16/2016 10:36:49] *** COLLISION DETECTED *** between two objects:
NeoID:0 of class Database_Header located at 0 (256) and NeoID:2686 of class TEDS Sensor Info located at 1 (198)
[11/16/2016 10:36:49] Incompatible schema detected, but no specific DD can be identified as the source.

I've had a PXI-8135 in a PXI-1065 Chassis. What caused this was installing a 7854R card in slot 9 and PXI-4462 in slot 18.

If I plug a monitor into the RT Target the screen will display an error for about 0.0000001 seconds and I can't read it.

Any ideas?

Hi Sneaker,

I have seen similar errors fixed by either resetting the MAX database or by formatting the real time target and reinstalling the software. Here is some information on both of those processes:

Thanks for getting back to me. I actually went through this process earlier today and it seems to have solved me issue.
