1kHz sine generation with 6722 Analogue Output device

Hi all, I am working on a project where I need to generate a 1kHz sinewave at 1-2Vrms using a PXI-6722 Analog Output device. I am having an issue where the device is unable to generate anything over approximately 800Hz due to timing issues. I am currently stuck with using this device but am unable to find much documentation to support it so any help would be much appreciated. If it is not physically capable of the above then purchasing another NI device may also be an option (e.g. another PXI module or CDAQ module).

Thanks,

Jeremy

Do you have any code you're allowed to share? According to the specs the device should be able to generate 45 kS/s. that's well above Nyquist.

Hi there,

No I haven't started on any code yet, I was just trying to get it going with the test panel.

Thanks

I would try one of the DAQmx examples. Such as Voltage - Finite Output.

The test panels are not always so well written in my experience. Think they're just useful to see that the device is alive
