13 PXI-6133 in a Single NI-DAQmx task?

Is it recommended to use 13 PXI-6133 in one PXI-1044 + PXI-8106 in a single task?

Setup:

PF0 trigger every 40ms

PF8 sample clock 103kHz

1020 samples per channel

Hello Jainsch,

basically this shouldn't be a problem - BUT:

The PXI-6133 are quite "hungry". The controller (8106) and the PXI-6133 will take 47,5 A from the 5 V rail which is a little bit above the rating of the power supply (47 A).

So I would suggest to use a PXI-1045 frame or 2 smaller PXI-frames (connected by a MXI4-brigde).

Hello Jainsch,

just a small addition:  

Please set fan-speed-selector at the rear to 'HIGH' and insert a Slot-Blocker in all empty slots to improve the airflow (cooling).
