Project Title: Single Arm Gestured Automobile(S.A.G.A)
Hardware & Software Used: Accelerometer, Arduino microcontroller, H-bridge, Gyrometer, IR sensor, DC motor
What challenge/problem are you trying to solve through your application: handicaps presently find difficulties for their movements around them & present controlled wheel chairs are expensive.
How does your application solves the above mentioned challenge/problem:
Simple driving mechanism of automobiles for all, especially for handicaps. It also possess simplest accessident avoiding system. Very easy to implement and is cost effective. Theft control system through GSM, & promotes new level of driving
Description of Project:There around 21.3% of population who are physically handicapped.With this idea keeping in our mind, this project can implement the driver’s independent movements on roads as they can drive the entire car using just a single arm. The system has least chance of meeting with accidents, and it posess a communication link which provides prior information of accidents on roads.It is also installed with theft control devise which gives spontaneous information to driver and shuts down the system automatically when stolen. So a physically handicap can drive a car easily and it promotes the next level of driving.
