The zip folder contains the source code for a sample application, known as the Cool myRIO App.  The source code folder contains all files needed to create an application, including *.lvproj, html help document, XML metadata, Desktop Main VI, RT Main VI, subVIs, and Post-Install VI.

The built VI package is attached as well to demonstrate the end user experience.

Sample Post-Install VI, HTML help document and XML metadata files are attached separately from the zip for convenience.  These files are identical to the files contained in the zip.  For details on how to use these files, see the attached tutorial.

Re: myRIO Application Developer's Tutorial, Example Code, and Sample Files

Do you have an updated version of the NI myRIO Post-Install App Launcher.vi for versions after LabVIEW 14? I have users of the X-CAN for myRIO package experiencing errors when trying to create a new X-CAN project from the project wizard. They are recieving an error with the myRIOMetaDataObj.lvclass which gets called on-post execute from the VI package manager. This issue does not occur in LabVIEW 2014.

Thanks,

The exact error is: Error 1055 occurred at Property Node in myRIOMetaDataObj.lvclass:UpdateFPGARef.vi->myRIOMetaDataObj.lvclassSmiley TongueostCopyScripting.vi->NewProjectDialog.vi

LabVIEW: Object reference is invalid.

Hello,

Did you find the solution about the error 1055?

I have the same error with Labview 2016.
