MTF contrast

Hi,

I want to use the MTF contrast to test a set-top-box, I found this page [broken link removed]. But the processor controls are different for me than those from the example. I'm using a video stream with frames as page. How do I do to know the correct resolution to use?

I want to know how are the MTF and resolution calculated. And what is the ideal value for these measures?
