how do i update modules when using scan engine and ethercat without losing names and channels

 I have moved my modules around and would like to update the Custom Device, but it will erase all my current settings (including calculated channels, etc). I thought I saw a post on how to do this, but i cannot find it.  Any clues out there?

Hello,

Unfortunately, I do not know of any way to do this.  Whether it be in the context of your custom device or in the VeriStand environment (be it in your aliases, calculated channels, etc.), I believe you will have to rename every variable/channel at some point along the chain.
