In NI-Veristand, the "most recent projects" list gets quite cluttered, and there doesn't seem to be any way to remove items from this list through the GUI. So I've discovered the following work around to remove items from this list, but if anyone has a more simple solution please post it here. Thanks.
Go to the following .xml file:
C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\NI VeriStand 2015\Environment Settings\Data Storage\Data Environment Settings.xml
Under the tag <Property Name="Most Recent Projects"> edit/remove undesired listings. They are semi-colon separated.
