Selecting PFI lines for Counter Input for Encoder Speed Measurment

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

I am trying to measure the encoder speed or position using Counter Input in VeriStand 2016. I could able to configure the counter input for encoder position measurement. But I don't know how to configure which PFI lines to be used for the A, B and Z(index) of the encoders. In LabVIEW (attached VI) it is simple to create the same for encoder. Please help.

Thanks

Sridhar

Thanks for your response.

I am looking for settings of input terminals -  PFI Lines in VeriStand Counter Input page.

In LabVIEW, I know how to use PFI lines.

Any Idea?

On System Definition File, there is no setting to select PFI terminal.

VeriStand uses default terminal.

Do you want to change counter terminal on SDF like using property node on LabVIEW?

If you wish so, I guess custom device is required...
