Print Debug String VI: no color

Hello Forum

While debugging a custom device I noticed that there is no color on the console output written through the "Print Debug String VI". Even though I set the Attribute to display the Message in color, the text remains white.

It would be nice to be able to display the different outputs in color, any ideas how to achieve that?

Thanks, Raphael

Hello,

Just to a little bit reverse engineer things here - do you create manually the numeric control/constant and then pass some number? Just to be sure, try to right click the input and use create>>constant and then assign the value. Potentially there may be some conversion issue here.

How exactly are you viewing the console output? Display output should work. I am not sure about "Web based configuration and monitoring" via browser or "Console viewer" in VeriStand
