A former employee was creating deliveries for a customer and now I have been asked to take over his work. I have some notes from him but essentially no experience with NI VeriStand.
Our company has 2012b MATLAB proprietary models that are built for the NI VeriStand 2012 target and then the executables delivered to a customer who integrates them with models from other companies into a product that ultimately becomes a large simulation in a lab.
His notes said that we only need to ‘develop’ for NI VeriStand (build for the target) and then the customer would integrate it and run it in their lab. So we only need development capability and not the ability to execute. He said that 2012 NI VeriStand could be downloaded from their website and used for development for free. However, it is looking like the older versions are no longer available…?
Do you know what steps I would have to take to obtain a development installation for NI VeriStand 2012 ?
Is this what is called “NI VeriStand Model Framework” ?
