Hi everybody, After upgrading test bench's LV and VS from 2011 to 2014. From then we are not able run the system definition file (shooting error 11126) as attached.
Note: the original source code/custom devices built in 2011 version.
How can I fix this problem ?
Thanks in advance,

Hello ksc,
In order to upgrade system definition files you will need the compatible custom devices for the new version you are using. It appears from your errors that you have not installed the 2014 versions of the custom devices you are using. If you have built the custom devices in house, you will need to rebuild them in LabVIEW 2014. If they were provided by National Instruments, you will need to check if they are supported via the NI VeriStand Add-Ons page. If they are not listed on that page, the source (now all located on GitHub) will need to be rebuilt for 2014. You can either do this yourself using LabVIEW 2014 or work with your local sales representative to assist you in finding additional support (partner, services, etc.). You can In the future, I would recommend posting to the NI VeriStand Discussion forum which is meant to be for general VeriStand assistance.

rc_ksc,
That looks like it's a bad XML file. Can you post a screenshot of that error? It will have the details about which part of which file is bad.

It looks like the XML schema file is missing from your Custom Devices directory in 2014. Can you copy the directory, zip it up, and post it here?

I missed some XML files in custom devices. Thank you. It worked.
Can anyone help me by updating the custom devices to work with 2014 version of VS and LV. It was originally built in 2011. ? If yes, I will post here

Hi rc_ksc,
Unfortunately we cannot assist you with the upgrade process through this forum. I recommend reaching out to your local sales representative to get assistance with finding additional support (partner, services, etc.). If you are unaware of who that is, send me a private message with your email address and location and I will make sure that your local team reaches out to you.
Best Regards,
Lynn
