"Alphabetize Local Variables"

Is there a way to sort the local variable in the main sequence?  My list of variables is voluminous and getting the one I need often takes time.  I'm running TestSTand 3.0 with LabWindows CVI using Windows 2000.

While you could certainly create a Tools menu item to alphabetize your variables, it might be easy enough just to reorder them manually using drag and drop.

James,

That would be a way to do it, however TestStand will not let me do it.  When I select a Local Variable I get a circle with a slash on an attempt to move. That is why I posted my question.

I went back to Version 3.0 and tried dragging locals. It worked for me.  Are you sure your file was not read-only or executing when you tried this?  Are you using the Locals Tab in the Sequence File window? Have you tried it in a newly created file?
