When the comparison type is LT or LE, why does the High limit grey out and the Low limit can be changed? For LT and LE, shouldn't only the High limit be selectable?

When the comparison type is LT or LE, why does the High limit grey out and the Low limit can be changed?  For LT and LE, shouldn't only the High limit be selectable?  This behavior is reflected in the test report as well.

Hey kmg365,

This is a known behavior and is present in the Help page for the Numeric Limit Test step. The concern with changing it at this point is that any change to the functionality could break backwards compatibility with sequences written for older versions of TestStand.

One easy way to remember this is that for comparisons which only use one limit, the first limit (Low limit) is the one that is used.

Another approach would be to change these steps to something like a greater than/less than, and set the low limit to a value below the possible range of your measurements. This would cause the report to appear correctly and might make more sense to other test developers examining the sequence in the future.
