Using TestStand to control Windows Media Player

I have opened windows media player (WMP) using "Call Executable".  I am having troubles controling WMP and getting status of this program (play, pause, stop, etc).  Is there some documentation on how to use the "Windows Media Player (Ver 1.0)" automation server.

Hi Brandon,

You're best resource will be Microsoft's MSDN for the Windows Media Player 11 SDK. Here you will find the object model reference which describes the methods and properties available.  Once you find the necessary methods, you can use the ActiveX action steps in your TestStand sequence to call those methods in the desired order.
