I am using NI Teststand 2021 with semiconductor module of 2022-Q2.
As anticipated, logging into the smaller STDF file takes negligible time. However, logging the same data takes longer when the file size large, and the logging time grows directly to the file size it is logging to. When the file size rises to about 800-900 MB, I'm seeing a 3–4 second increase in logging time.
I was curious about how to avoid this circumstance. Tips for cutting down on logging time

Have you tried configuring the STDF report plugin run in a separate thread?
Is it required to run such a long lot resulting in 800-900MB? typically, a lot is split into several sub-lots to fit within the operator shift.

Thanks Santhosh for the replay,
It is generating larger file as we are collecting more data while testing. That is kind of necessary at this stage.
But it would be helpful if you could point me to some NI knowledgeable page for configuring the STDF report plugin run in a separate thread.
Thanks,
Mithun

I could not enable separate thread for STDF logging. It is greyed out. Would it require any module to be installed for this purpose ...?

Looks like the STDF plugin intentionally does not support running in a new thread.
