Show PreUUT steps in the TestStand SequenceView UI Control

Solved!

Hello,

I have a custom PreUUT callback sequence.

I use the SequenceView UI Control (ActiveX) to display the test progress. It shows the test steps correctly, but it stays blank while the PreUUT is running. Is there a way to show the PreUUT steps in the SequenceView?

For whatever reason it looks like the engine changes the tracing settings each time a step executes.  I tried to put a step at the beginning of setup to turn on tracing but it gets turned off immediately.

As a hack I added the SequenceFilePreStep callback and put RunState.Caller.RunState.Tracing = True in a statement step.  I don't like it but it works.

It does feel wrong, but I havne't been able to find any other way.

Thank you for a working solution!
