Set CfgLocation back to default

How do I get TestStand back to its default directory.  Apparently this setting is in the registry but I could not find it.  TestStand 2019 cannot open since I inadvertently pasted a User Manager File path into the TestStand Configuration Directory in the Preferences.  No write access to the directory.

Not found here -

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\National Instruments\TestStand\19.0\

or here -

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\National Instruments\TestStand\19.0

It should not be this easy to break TestStand, it cannot start. Throws an error to make a registry change to the CfgLocation.

Hi,

Agreed. Can you post the copy of the error you are getting?

The directory settings cannot be changed, it is maintained by IT.  Only option is to fix TestStand 2019

Look like I overlooked the registry key. The value are located here for the record -

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\National Instruments\TestStand\19.0     (64bit TestStand)

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\National Instruments\TestStand\19.0  (32bit TestStand)
