Saving values between VIs

I have a VI that reads an .ini file and returns an array of clusters. The clusters contain two ints and a string. The array name is Index&FreqArray. Under the module tab I see the array as an "out". I don't yet have anything in the Value column.

How do I save this array for use by a subsequent VI to use? I think it need to be a file global but am not sure how to set it up.

Seems I needed a custom data type which the system was quite willing to do and even subtly suggested. Is there a way to destroy a custom data type once created?

Why would you want to delete it since you need it to pass data from the VI to TestStand? If you really want to remove it or edit it, use the type editor. You probably created the data type in the sequence you were editing so it would exist there.

Passing data to and from LabVIEW in TestStand is covered in the Using LabVIEW with TestStand manual. Have you read it?
