Run VI from Teststand customize tool menu

My Teststand will launch a VI when it is executed. If Front panel of executing VI was minimized or Closed, then Test stand must stop its execution. I like to have a Customize tool menu option which needs to relaunch VI execution again from first?

I'm not sure your need is very clear.

So basically there is a VI (that is not the UI) running asynchronously to your TS sequence?  Then if the user minimizes or close it you want to terminate the execution of your TS sequence?  Or do you just want to pause execution (huge difference)?  Then in order for them to resume they have to invoke the VI again from the tools menu?

If you can clarify a little better I may be able to help provide you with a clean solution.

You can only run 2 things from the tools menu: Sequence and/or Cmd (exe).

If you don't want to build the VI into an exe then I recommend you put it in a sequence and call the sequence file.
