HI All,
We are scratching our head on this one:
LabVIEW 2011 SP1, TestStand 2010 SP1, VISA 5.1.1
Attached is a reproduction of the issue. So basically I have an array of LabVIEWIOControls and I want to pass that to LabVIEW as an Array of VISA sessions. I get error -18001; An error occurred accessing the LabVIEW ActiveX automation server.
This only happens with the development environment set for the adapter. It also only happens when the SessionNumber portion of the LabVIEWIOControl is not set. If you uncomment the statement step in the middle you will see the error dissappears.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

Hello jiggawax,
There is a KnowledgeBase article that explains this error in more detail.
Hope that sheds some light on the issue.

I think what jigg is trying to say is that this looks like a bug. None of that KB is relevant to this error. He's trying to give you a free CAR!

Unfortunately I do not see that KB helping with the issue. I had read it already as well. Thank you.
I believe snowpunter is correct. This looks like a feature.
Were you able to reproduce the issue? If not then maybe it's a setting somewhere for me?
Thanks,

Hey there,
You are right, that Knowledgeable article didn't touch on this particular case. Looking over it quickly I thought I saw something that was useful.
I was able to reproduce the issue on my machine and it doesn't seem that you are missing some particular setting.
I will go ahead and test it on a cleaner machine and report a CAR if need be.
Thank you for posting!

Was a CAR ever filed and if so what is the ID?
