Netsh vs Call Executable

Solved!
Go to solution

I would like to send command like "netsh wlan show profiles"  from a command line using Call Executable step.

But when I send the command "netsh" I get a prompt as "netsh>", so it get me into the net shell and it get me an error.

Is it possible to send net shell command from TestStand?

If not, can I do it from Labwindows/CVI?

Regards

I was able to make it works.

I set the File Pathname: C:\windows\systems32\netsh.exe and for argument: "wlan show profiles"

I get the answer from a string variable that I set as output destination.
