I have an issue regarding NI MAX.
I am using a USB-to-Serial-Adapter on COM5 which is being detected fine by WIN10 (64-bit system) device manager. Somehow the device won't show up in NI MAX. If I manually change the COM-Port to for example "10" it will show up. If I swap the adapter for another one the same issue occurs.
I am using an identical adapter von COM3 which is working fine.
I tried the tool "Free unused COM-Ports" in MAX without any success.
Any ideas?
