Memory clearing of Ethernet GPIB Controller

I use a 778209 controller on a classified standalone test system for a government contract. The DoD requires that I identify the size & type of media (electronic memeory in this case) and either identify contents of the media or establish a method to sanitize the media.

Here is an example of the sort of media information I am required to provide (which seems not to be available from any NI manual I can locate)

Size & Type
 SDRAM 512 MB /
EEPROM 32 KB /
CPU FLASH 512 KB
Sanitization
SDRAM Power down for at least 30 seconds to sanitize (erase).
EEPROM – Contains unclassified instrument operating
data: not user accessible. CPU FLASH – Contains unclassified
BIOS.
