Loading VI in TestStand

Solved!

Hi,

I am using the Temptronic ATS-710 Thermal Cooler and found a LabView driver for this.  I want to use this in a TestStand test sequence and appeared to set this up correctly using the LabView adaptor. But there seems to be a problem with the "VI Path".  It keeps looking in a location that doesn't include the VIs and never has copied to - "My Computer\........".  Any help would be appreciated.

My Computer is relative to your project in the Project Path.

It looks to me like your VI was moved relative to your project file?  Personally I don't use the Project Paths.  I haven't bought into it yet... 🙂

Make sure you can open the project in LabVIEW and it finds everything ok.

Thanks for the reply.  What can I do to resolve this?  It all looks good in LabView and I have done a Mass Compile as well to ensure it is all fine.

What happens if you get rid of the project path and just browse to the VI in the VI Path?  Will the VI load then?

Hi,

This is a known issue that has not yet been fixed in TestStand. As recommended by jiggawax the workaround is to configure the step to call the VI without specifying a project path.

That workaround seems to have fixed the problem.  Thanks
