How to set VISA resource name on LABview teststep

Hello,

i am using a downloaded vi-library for an instrument.

Then i inserted a LABview action and selected the Initialize.vi file from the library.

Now i see all parameters of the vi in the module tab of this action.

One parameter is "VISA resourcename" which is a container of Device Name and Session Number.

What values to i have set there? Is this something i have to set in NI MAX before?

Just use the VISA name and it should work fine.

DeviceName needs to be your VISA alias or GPIB address from MAX.  The Session can be 0.
