How to migrate old Database Options into new TS architecture

Hello All

A bit of background, I am updating a functional test system previously written in LabVIEW 8.5 and TestStand 4.0.1.   I am evaluating whether to go ahead with the new process model architecture that was implemented in TestStand 2012.

I have a custom schema based on TestStand 4.0.1 that I would like to use in TestStand 2014.  I want to keep the schema the same to allow our production department to keep the same tools they have to do first pass yield and other analytics.

How can I migrate DatabaseOptions from an old version into the new format?  It looks like the TestStandDatabseOptions.INI file is no longer supported and all the database options are contained ResultProcessing.cfg, is that correct?

Or am I better off just keeping the legacy process model architecture?

Thanks,

PH

Hi there,

While it is possible to continue using your legacy process models in TestStand 2012 and above, below are a few links to resources that you might find helpful (especially the TestStand Migration Utility) if you are thinking about migrating to a post 2012 version of TestStand.
