When you upgraded to LabVIEW 6.0, did you reinstall Test Executive? In Addition, did you mass compile the Test Executive LLB files found under LabVIEW folder? When you upgrade to a newer version of LabVIEW, it is better to reinstall Test Executive and Mass compile the folder in which you installed it and your Test VIs.
Finally, it is important to remember that Test Executive is no longer supported by phone or email. It is web support only. You may also be interested in checking TestStand, which is the replacement for Test Executive.
