I have a doubt regarding the teststand report format generation. I want to add the extra data in a row or coloumn. Can anyone please help me out with a clear description.

The easiest way to do this is use the Additional Results step or the Additional Results of the step you want to do.  These three links from the TestStand help will be useful for your situation.  It is important that you understand result collection and then report generation.

I did not understand that they were both requirements.  I just assumed you wanted one or the other.

If you need an extra column it is unfortunately a lot more work.  What type of report are you generating?  The solution would change depending on the report type.

Most importantly you need to understand 2 things: Result Collection (linked in my previous post) and Report Generation.

Result collection is what collects the data so that when you get to the report generation step you have what you need.

The first step is to understand plugins: https://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/370052R-01/tsfundamentals/infotopics/process_model_plugin_a...

After you understand plugins then you need to understand how to adjust or modify the specific report type to meet your need.

For example if you are doing XML AND using the horizontal stylesheet then this may be helpful: https://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/370052R-01/tsreports/infotopics/xml_custom_cols_rows/

Some of it may or may not apply to other style sheets.  If you are doing HTML or ASCII then the process will be different.
