How can i insert a step in a sequence with all the parmeter through lab view vi

Hi all,

         I want to insert a step in the existing sequence through lab view vi. I am currently able to do so . but i want to specify all the local variables and parameters of the step through the vi . how can that be achieved. The step which i insert through lab view vi should not need any further modification for execution. all the specifications should have to be given through the VI.

if any one give more clarifications or can provide me an example it is welcome..
