I want to hide the contents of a variable in TestStand. Basically so that during runtime a user cannot stop execution and look at the information stored in this variable. All users have admin rights. Also I do not want to just hide the variable, as it is not difficult to enable "show hidden properties". My objective is to hide the Post-expression of a group of sequences. So what I am doing is having the expression stored in a password protected file. During runtime a VI translates this password protected file and places the expression into a string. The sequences (all of a custom type) use that string as their expression. Does anyone know a way of hiding my expression or hiding a variable (preferably behind a password)?
The expression has some sensitive information in it that I would like to protect.
