Error Occurred not set when Error Code conditions are met (TS17)

Hi,

I am currently in the process of commissioning a system and have run into a weird problem.

I have multiple Sub Sequences contained in my Main Sequence file and none of them set Step.Error.Occurred to True when the return value of a step is a negative error - even though I have set it up to do so in the step settings.

This behaviour is isolated to the Sub Sequences of the Main Sequence file and does not occur in any other .seq files which are linked to from within the Main Sequence file.

Please ignore the actual Error Code as I have introduced it on purpose.

Any help would be appreciated,

Marcin

Hi,

In regards to subsequences, this guide contains a good section on best practices:

A Guide to Developing Effective, Maintainable TestStand Sequences

http://www.ni.com/product-documentation/4267/en/

Pay special attention to 'Modularize Test Steps into Subsequences'

I hope this helps.

Kind regards

Ben
