Deploy Teststand installer from 4.2 to run on Teststand 4.1

Solved!
Go to solution

I'm currently running both Teststand 4.2 and 4.1 on my computer, and I am going to be traveling away to install my test sequence on a computer that only has Teststand 4.1.

I have a sequence that I made in 4.2, I need to create an installer that will run on 4.1?

I have tried to save the sequence as 4.1 and then build the installer, but it always reverts back to 4.2. Then I check and the sequence is still 4.1.

Does the deployment utility automatically converts the 4.1 sequence files to 4.2?

thanks

Random suggestion, It would be a nice feature if the Testand deployment utility had this as an option. just a simple combobox dropdown and click build.  oh yeah.

Hi.

When you create the Deployment are you using the Deployment utility from the TestStand 4.2 system or are you using the Deployment utility from the TestStand 4.1 installation? In addition, did you revert all the sequence files used in the project, such as ProcessModels, etc?
