Deleting custom data types by TestStand 4.0

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello! I'm using custom data type in my TestStand sequence. This data types is derived from my own control and is a huge cluster of clusters. It is created in a sequence file (and not in any *.ini). By modifications of the sequence it becomes necessary to delete existing custom data type and create a new one due to changes in the custom control. How can I delete custom data type?

I haven' found any possibility to do it in Teststand menues. It were not so important, if this custom data type wasn't so huge.

Thank you in advance for your answer - maybe there is a workout if no direct solution?

Hi,

Just view the Data Type in the Sequence File and highlight the custom data type  it then delete it.

(you have to make sure you have no variables defined in your sequence file that are still using data type you wish to delete. )
