I have just been to a Pearson Vue centre and have taken the CTA exam and passed 😄

I can tell you. It is so much scarier when it's not a free exam 😉

Jigg's sample exams were invaluable and got scarily close to the real thing (more so than the CTD sample exams ... which are nevertheless priceless to have)

As my CTD would have expired this year, I decided to try for the CTA,

because learnig CTD stuff again would have been boring - and passed this week.

The example questions helped a lot, and showed also typical answer traps  

In the real exam, you are good prepared when, besides having learned the TS-II-stuff and practised with these questions,

you feel the Spirit of Teststand for making the right choices in the dubious questions
