Really helpful information ! I learnt quite some stuff 🙂
I have a point to make regarding your solution though. When a Test Fixture Initialization error occurs, you jump to Addition Results Step and thus skip the Cleanup. But the Initialization is done for DMM, PSupply and SP25 in 3 sequential steps. If an Error occurs in you 2nd or 3rd Init step and you jump to Additional Results step at end, the sequence will skip closing the devices you successfully initialized before the Error occurred.
Wouldn't that be against recommendations ?

It's been too long to remember what I did here, but yes. I can't think of a good reason to skip cleanup ever.

Hi,
I am also preparing for the CTD exam. for your remark about closing the other references.
You can set the RunState.SequenceFailed to true on the post expression of the init step if the error occured.
In that way, the sequence Init will Fail and go to the cleanup of the main sequence.
