The Error -420 means the instrument was addressed to talk, but there was no message. The "initialize.vi" VI has the ID query input defaulted to TRUE. Try setting that to FALSE and see if that works.useful link:http://www.tek.com/sites/tek.com/files/media/document/resources/scpierrs.txt
