Alliance Partner Directory and Portal Redesign - Bug Fix Updates

Thanks Alliance Partners for your patience with the partner directory, solutions database, and portal redesign. As with most large web projects like this, there are always kinks to work out so I apologize for any inconvenience. Update Your Company Profile

 

There was an issue at launch wiupdate profile2.pngth the submission form when processing changes to your company profiles. This is now fixed so you can submit changes and see the updates in real-time on your profile pages. Any previous attempts to make and submit changes would not have populated and will need to be reentered. This is available by logging into the Partner Portal and selecting the shortcut "Update Your Company Profile" or "Partner Company Profile" in the Account drop-down menu in the header of the page.

 

Search Optimized URL Structure

You may have noticed that the URL structure has changed for all links to our directory home page, solutions, etc. If you have content linking to your directory profile or a solution (I.e. website, social media, etc.), we have implemented a temporary redirect but it's not a permanent update. Your content

links will need to be updated to avoid issues with search engines and delays in redirecting to your profile or solution from your site(s).

 

Case Studies on ni.com

On each partner case study on ni.com, our team had implemented a CTA (call to action) and link to contact you if the customer was interested in learning more. With the URL structure changes, these links no longer have the form attached but are redirecting to your profile. There is a larger project planned this fall to refresh all case study content and our team will update the new contact form in your content as part of this initiative.

 

Customer Testimonials

 

custtest.jpgYou should have received a communication regarding the deprecation of our customer reviews feature. With the new redesign, the third-party vendor code could not be integrated. Included would have been an attached spreadsheet with the data needed to transfer the review information into the new Customer Testimonial feature. This is available by logging into the Partner Portal and selecting the shortcut "Update Your Company Profile" or "Partner Company Profile" in the Account drop-down menu in the header of the page. 

 

New Fields in Company Profile

 

newfields.jpgOne of the new features of the directory redesign is additional company information fields. These help partner managers differentiate your expertise and also builds credibility with customers. The fields are optional but are highly recommended. Update these fields by logging into the Partner Portal and

selecting the shortcut "Update Your Company Profile" or "Partner Company Profile" in the Account drop-down menu in the header of the page. 

 

You can also choose to identify as a LabVIEW Consultant or a System Integrator and an appropriate icon will appear on the company info section of your profile page. Customers will still be able to find your company page from the directory using this and other search filters.
