Sorry for posting this here, but there is no board this fits in.
Software activation without logging into one's NI account by entering activation codes is described in
https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z0000019Ok0SAE&l=de-DE
but this does not work anymore for License Manager 4.5, which requires logging in in any case.
Did I miss something, or is this option wiped out intentionally?

Hi adlevo1,
If you disconnect you computer from the Internet entirely before trying to activate, you should get to a screen where you can enter an activation code. The screen will look different than the one in the Knowledge Base article you referred (I will see that it gets updated as soon as possible). Please let me know if this works for you.
Thanks.

Hi, Aaron!
Thanx a lot for your reply, but unfortunately it only taught me, that I forgot to add an essential piece of information: That computer is physically located in some far computer center. I am logged in via RPC, so there is no way of disconnecting it.
Thank you again,
Volker
