webcam影像擷取發生 time out

各位好，

我用的webcam是logitech c100 CMOS webcam,也有安裝driver。但是使用MAX時會發生time out 或 0xBFF6901B的問題。

目前狀況是，webcam拔掉在插入，開啟MAX 然後Grab，這時候是正常的。

但是在重新按下Grab或是MAX關掉再開，就會發生time out或0XBFF6901B的狀況。有爬了些文章，說是trigger的問題??

但我不了解的是何謂trigger的問題呢? 是指MAX跟Logi driver會搶同一資源的情況嗎?

(我開MAX在Grab後 有影像畫面，然後開啟Logi driver要看畫面就有說程式被NI使用中，需要重新連接)

比較想知道的是，當我BCB在使用DLL中的函數時，要連接webcam去拍照，這時候是使用LabVIEW(Acquisition)還是Logi的Driver呢?

我現在也逐步在抓蟲，初步排除硬體問題 = =||

另外想問的是，在MAX中若有camera被連過，就會有cam0 cam1...類似的代號出現。

假設我用A牌的是cam0，現在我用B牌的是cam1，我想把cam1 rename 成 cam0似乎無法，這方面有限制嗎?

Hello,

When you are setting the "timeout" error, were you doing a Grab or Snap? Do you have Logitech's acquisition software opened at the same time when you saw the "timeout"? You can only have 1 driver to access the camera at a time. 

As for your question on renaming the camera, you would need to delete the unused camera name (cam0 in your case) before you would be able to rename cam1 to cam0

Thanks for your help.

"Time out" just happened if i click grab.

When i choose a cam and grab, the logitech driver is open,too.

So, i guess the driver and MAX want to use the same camera. In first time, the controller is MAX, logitech driver is no capture.

When i grab on/up several times, the MAX also didn't have control and time out happened.

I just know how to rename, but delete name is possible ?

When i mouse right clicked, no selection likes "delete device".

What I would suggest doing is to exit out of logitech's image acquisition software and uses only MAX's test panel to capture the image.

Also, is the USB camera that you are working with DirectShow Compliant?  Which version of Vision Acquisition Software do you have? If Vision Acquisition Software you have is prior to 2009, you would also need to download NI-IMAQ for USB Camera

我有另外去買微軟的VX-5500

然後相同環境下測試，發現沒有先前所提到的問題。

或許是因為webcam驅動程式的關係吧。

羅技的C100會被LabVIEW與自己的驅動程式在搶資源；而微軟的目前是沒有發現這狀況。

當然這兩種價錢也差了兩倍吧~
