How do you get yourself in these jams? Smiley Very Happy I looked at the circuit and tried everyway I knew other than deleteing them to get it to straighten out. I was unsuccessful  Also, I was unable to grab any portion of beveled portion either, just the horizontal and vertical Sorry, but you may end up having to delete them and run the again unless Nestor or one of the other team members has a better idea.

Sorry I couldn't be of much assistance, but I gave it my best try.

Just for your information, I tried creating a bus with diagonal corners on a separate schematic sheet and had the same issue. So it is not just something wrong in your circuit. This may have to be further addressed by the NI Team for a possible solution/workaround.

I thought I would let you know this information so you won't think it was something you did wrong.

Thanks, I thought it would come to that.  I actually ran into it a couple times before on older projects and should have known better than to try and be artistic with my schematic entry.

I like this forum.  It's very responsive both from the company and from users like Lacy who want to help.   You can be sure I will be back whenever I have a question or issue.

Thank you for those kind words. I really appreciate that. Anytime I try to help someone I do the best I can. I may not know the best solution and have known to wrong from time to time, but giving your best is all anyone can ask of anyone else.

Okay, I found this bug (moves text labels off sheet) and you should be able to repeat it.

First turn off RefDes on the Visibility tab of the design toolbox
Next select any component from the library and place it on the page.
Turn on RefDes and you will see the text is in the right location
Turn RefDes off (invisible) again and then rotate the component using [Ctrl-R]
Turn on the RefDes and you will see that the RefDes text has slid off the sheet making the component have a very large selection box.

Copy, paste and rotate a subcircuit with RefDes invisible and you will end up with a mess.

Objects like ground (sources) and off page connectors, to name a couple, don't have a reset text position button so that fix is not universal.

I have tried this on a number of objects to similar effect.

I can confirm this behaviour. Nice work in finding this. It may be just me, but it seems like it gets worse the more your rotate it. Also, it makes no difference as to whether you use CTRL+R or do it from the toolbars.

This is one for the repair list for sure. Unless there is a solution we don't know about yet (other than keeping the labels on).

Great job!!

Thank you for the reproduce steps provided.  I have gone ahead and noted them, along with a description of the behavior, in our list of prospective repairs.

I also wanted to share a potential method for recovering files that contain a number of components whose RefDes's have been repositioned (like the file in the original post):

Toggling the RefDes visibility in the Options>>Sheet Properties dialog behaves as a global reset text position.  Specifically,
1. Open the Options>>Sheet Properties... dialog
2. In the Circuit tab, uncheck the RefDes box
3. Click Apply
4. Now, re-check the RefDes box and click OK
You should now find that all RefDes labels are repositioned close to the component to which they belong

I also found that the behavior (RefDes labels moving far from component) only seems to happen when hiding the RefDes's using the Visibility tab of the Design Toolbox.  When using the component's Properties dialog Display tab or the Sheet Properties dialog to show/hide the RefDes, the RefDes stays put after rotating/flipping the component.

Hope this info is of some help.
