no interface options

Hi,

My computers at work have been upgraded.  I installed multisim, ultiboard 10 on my tower and all is good.  I installed it on my laptop and when I run either program it will open, I will have the workspace available, but I don't have any tools or access to any controls to modify the interace (i.e. I don't even have 'file' or 'options').  Anyone know what could be wrong? I've removed and reinstalled already - same problem.

Try this:

1. Close all Multisim Design Suite 10 if it is currently running.
2. Navigate to the folder where user interface file is stored, by default it should be in:

C:\Documents and Settings\Your Login Name\Application Data\National Instruments\Circuit Design Suite\10.0\config.

If you don’t see these folders, make sure you turn on ‘Show hidden files/folders’ in the Windows explorer setting, this is under ToolsàFolder OptionsàView

3. Delete all files in the “config’ folder in the path shown above
4. Restart Multisim.
