multisim transformers

hi guys thanks for your time,

i create and test coils, i realy love your program but i mis a few options for the transformers,

first i would like to see on option to change the core to a differant mixes and or air coil,

the wide and shape of the coil and i would like to see more layerd options for excample

this is my latest coil

also i need the gauge of the wires and differand wires like silverplated copperwire

Hi JossStone,

Firstly I wanted to share this part of our site with you, which allows customers to feedback their suggestions directly to R&D. The forums linked below are constantly monitored by our R&D team in the US and they will often respond directly to customer suggestions. 

The way they work is that customers can pose a suggestion and other members of the NI community will vote using 'kudos' on whether the idea should be implemented. If the R&D team can implement the suggestion and there is no strong reason not to do it then they will try to implement it for a later release.

I would like to suggest that you add your idea here, as customer posts carry more weight than internal ones. I'd be happy to give you a 'kudos' point though if you decide to do this. 

As an example, here is a post from R&D in response to the LabWindows/CVI suggestions, and list the ideas which actually got implemented into the 2013 release!

Secondly a nonlinear transformer can be customized for different applications by using a magnetic core and the coreless coil as the basic building blocks. See the Component Reference Guide page 2-31 for a description and 2-40 for creating coreless coils.
