I am going to post something I found on the internet concerning this subject that will help.

In OrCAD capture export the netlist to a Calay netlist format. Importing this netlist format to Ultiboard will be your easiest method of going from OrCAD to Ultiboard.

Just Click File>Open. Then your netlist should be available to Ultiboard for loading.

Be advised that I don't have Orcad so I don't know if the above will work. It should, but I have not tested it

You may be able to just load the Orcad's default output. Click File>Open and check to see if it is avalable for loading in the window. If it is there, then it is a file format recongnized by Ultboard and can be loaded. Otherwise, you will have to convert it to a recongized format as stated above.

Jusr so you'll know. The advice that I posted about the Calay netlist format actually came from this forum (must have been before I came aboard). So I trust this information more now than before. You can try it and see if it works for you.

O.K. I am sorry about that. I was assuming you had Version 10. I am not sure about Version 2001's support for Orcad files. Someone else will have to comment on this since I have never used the 2001 version of Ultiboard.

This feature is not available in all versions, if you select FileàOpen and in the Files of type field if you don’t see a Calay netlist option then you don’t have this feature.
