Hi,

You can double click on your via in Ultiboard click on the Via tab. Here, you can choose to use custom via sizes as opposed to the ones that you set for the entire design in Ultiboard.

The Drill Diameter is the size of the inner hole

The Pad Diameter is the size of the via including the annular ring

Leave the Plated option checked unless you want to make a non conductive hole

Hope that helps.

Alternatively, you can set an option for the board which will cause all new via to be created in a custom size. To do this:

  1.  Click Options>>PCB Properties
  2. Under Vias, change the Drill and Pad diameters as appropriate
  3. Click OK
  4. All new vias will be created under the new settings that you just specified

 Does that work for you?
