cRIO Module examples in Utilboard

In the catalog pages for the cRIO Module Development Kit (MDK), NI states:

"You can find example layout templates in Ultiboard as well as mechanical templates stored in standard computer automated design tool formats."

I installed Utilboard and cannot find any layout example at all for these modules.

Has anyone found and/or used an example that describes the PCB layout?

All I am trying to accomplish is to embed some signal conditioning circuits into a cDAQ module shell, possibly using a small amount of 5V power, no other backplane or FPGA interaction...

Hi,

I checked in my old (v10) version of Ultiboard and found something, i don't know if this is what you looking for:

start a new project/design in Ultiboard.

The place a part:

Place ----> from database

then in the left screen select Ultiboard Master --->Board outline --->Compact Rio

there are 4 types of board templates in my database...

Thank you!  That was (embarassingly) easy...

I couldn't get Utilboard to Export the file after placement, probably because I'm in Eval period.

But Capture Screen Area does well enough ofr me to have a template I can trial fit parts to.
